No of Posts : 28 ( Education : 6, History : 6, Mathematics : 1, Assamese : 4, Geography : 1, Social Studies : 4, Natural Science : 1, Bengali : 1, Sanskrit : 2, English : 1, Bodo : 1)
Pay : Rs. 12,000/- to Rs. 40,000/- with AGP of Rs. 5900/- PM plus other allowances as admissible under the Rules of Govt. of Assam.
Age : Minimum 21 years and maximum 43 years as on 3/3/2016 as per Govt. OM No. ABP/06/2016/4, dated 3/3/2016. However, the upper age limit is relaxable upto five years in case of SC/ST(P) and ST(H) candidates.
Essential Qualification : 1. Master Degree in the concerned subject with 55% marks from any recognized University. 2. M.Ed with 55% marks. 3. Candidates must have at least 5 years teaching experience in elementary or secondary education
Weightage : 1. Preference will be given to the candidates having Ph.D/M.Phil degree (Ph.D in Education/Educational Planning and Management shall be given special weightage). 2. Proficiency in the use of ICT for educational purpose.
2. Lecturer, Institute of Advance Studies in Education (Guwahati) (IASE) and Jorhat
No of Posts : 6 ( English : 2, Assamese : 1, Natural Science : 1, Education : 1, Biological Science : 1)

How to apply: Application form may be obtained by downloading the same from the APSC’s website www.apsc.nic.in. Applications which are signed by the candidates and accompanied by all particulars as called for in the application form prescribed by the Commission only shall be considered and candidates fulfilling all the terms of the advertisement of the respective posts shall be called for a Screening test or Viva-voce interview where necessary as decided by the Commission.
Applicants must affix 1 (One) copy of recent photograph on the space provided in the application form firmly with good quality glue/adhesive and also should enclose another copy along with the application. The photograph must be signed prominently. The Commission shall not be responsible for detachment/ loss of the photograph.
The last date of receiving duly filled up application form in the Commission’s office is fixed on 04/07/2016.
