Sashastra Seema Bal SSB Recruitment 2016: SSB Constable Recruitment 2016 – SSB Group-C Recruitment 2016 – Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, Office of the Directorate General, Sashastra Seema Bal, New Delhi Invites Application for the post of 2068 (Constable) Group-‘C’ Non-Gazetted, (Combatised) vacancies on temporary, but likely to continue. - Constable (Driver) only for male candidates: 731 posts
- Constable (Cook) male: 349 posts
- Constable (Cook) female: 60 posts
- Constable (Washer man) male: 170 posts
- Constable (Washer man) female: 30 posts
- Constable (Barber) male: 82 posts
- Constable (Barber) female: 15 posts
- Constable (Safaiwala) male: 176 posts
- Constable (Safaiwala) female: 30 posts
- Constable (Water Carrier) male: 395 posts
- Constable (Water Carrier) female: 30 posts
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 21 to 27 years for the post Constable (Driver) and 18 to 23 years for all other posts. Age relaxation is applicable up to 05 years for SC/ ST candidates 03 years for OBC candidates & others as per govt rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidate should possess Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board with Must possess valid Heavy Vehicle Driving license for the post of Constable (Driver) and Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board with (a) Two years Diploma from recognized Industrial Training Institute in the trade or similar trade or (b) One year certificate course from a recognized Industrial Training Institute or Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in the trade; or (c) Two years work experience in respective trade; ii) Must qualify trade test.
DESIRABLE:-Multi-skilled candidates will be given preference for all other posts.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 50/- General & OBC candidates through IPO/ Demand Draft/ Banker Cheque. No fee for SC/ ST/ Ex-Servicemen & female candidates.
Selection Procedure:
Candidates will be selected based on Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Examination/Assessment, Trade Test and Medical Examination.
