Indian Army Open Recruitment Rally Details:

Hosting ARO: Jorhat

Venue:  Mariani (Assam)

Dates: 01 to 06 Oct 2016

Districts Covered: Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, Sibasagar, Jorhat, Golaghat, Karbi Anglong (less Hemren Sub Division), North Lakhimpur & Dhemaji districts of Upper Assam


 Hosting ARO: Silchar

Venue: Masimpur (Assam)

Dates: 18 to 26 Nov 2016

Districts Covered: Cachar, Karimganj, Dima Hasao & Hailakandi districts of South Assam


Hosting ARO: RO (HQ) Shillong

Venue: Solmara Military Station, Tezpur

Dates: 16 to 22 Jan 2017

Districts Covered: Nagaon, Morigaon & Sonitpur districts of Central Assam


 Hosting ARO: Narangi

Venue: Misamari Military Station, Tezpur

Dates: 01 to 20 Feb 2017

Districts Covered: Barpeta, Chirang, Kokrajhar, Dhubri, Goalpara & Bongaigaon, Darrang, Udalguri, Kamrup (M), Kamrup (R), Nalbari & Baksa districts of Lower Assam


Education Qualification:

 For Soldier General Duty: HSLC/Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. No percentage required for higher qualification i.e. 10+2 and above.

For Soldier Technical: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 45% marks in aggregate. OR 10th Class pass with min 50% marks in aggregate and 3 yrs Diploma in Engineering from AICTE recognized institute.

For Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical: 10+2/Intermediate Examination Pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science). Should have secured 40% marks in each subject and 50% in aggregate in Class XII.

For Soldier Nursing Assistant: 10+2/Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.

For Soldier Tech Dresser: 10+2/Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with min 50% marks in aggregate and min 40% in each subject.

For Soldier Tech (Avn & Amn Examiner): 10+2/Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with min 50% marks in aggregate and min 40% in each subject. OR Three years Diploma in Engg (Mech/Elect/Automobiles/Cmptr Science Mechanical Engg and Electronic & Instrumentation Engg).

For Soldier Tradesmen: 10th/ITI (Except Syce, Mess Keeper and House Keeper-who may be 8th pass).

For Hav Surveyor Auto Carto: BA/BSc with Maths. Must have also passed 12th class or equivalent with Maths and Science as main subjects.

For Junior Commissioned Officer (Catering): 10+2 and Diploma in Cookery/Hotel Management and Catering Tech .

Age Limit (As on 1st January of Rally/ Bharti Year):

For Soldier General Duty: 17.5 to 21.0 years.

For Hav Surveyor Auto Carto: 20.0 to 25.0 years.

For Other Posts: 17.5 to 23.0 years.
